1. Pay your bill

To pay your bill, follow these instructions.

Summer 2018 billing notifications are forwarded electronically starting in early April. The Summer Study bill is due May 10. If accepted for admission after May 1st, your bill will be due upon receipt. All Language School students with an outstanding student account due to Middlebury College will not be able to re-enroll until the balance has been resolved.

2. Set up your access to BannerWeb

Click here to set up BannerWeb

Your BannerWeb access should be available within 2-3 days after you submit your enrollment deposit and enrollment forms.

Middlebury College uses BannerWeb, a secure program for students to view their academic records and financial information. In order to access BannerWeb, you must provide your 8-digit student ID (included in your acceptance email) and a 6-digit PIN. For your initial entry into the BannerWeb system, your PIN is set to your Date of Birth (MMDDYY). Your PIN defaults to 010101 if you did not provide us with your birth date. Upon first entry to the system, you are prompted to change this.

You may also set up Direct Deposit for Student Refunds and View Your Student Account in BannerWeb.

3. Activate your Middlebury network account and set the password

Set up your Middlebury account here.

Network accounts will be available after May 1. This account is used for email, wireless access, and more. All Language Schools communications during the summer are sent only to Middlebury email accounts. This includes links to training you will need to complete prior to arrival, correspondence with instructors, and information for online evaluations at the end of the program. (Resetting Your Password)

4. Send your ID card photo

Send a passport-style photo of yourself to millsdigitalphotos@middlebury.edu, in .jpg format by May 18. Photos will be used for your Middlebury at Mills ID card. Please note that new ID cards are issued every summer, regardless of whether you are new or returning student. Please also note that Middlebury undergraduates attending a Language School cannot use their academic year ID card and must also submit a photo.

You will receive your ID card at check-in if your photo is submitted at least 72 hours prior to the date of your program’s Arrival Center. Otherwise, you will be issued a temporary card and will need to return to the HMDS office in Sage Hall to pick up your permanent ID card when it is ready. You will be charged a fee of $10 if you fail to return the temporary card.

5. Enter Emergency Contact Information

Enter your emergency contact information into BannerWeb following these instructions.

Please program the number for Mills College Public Safety: 510.430.5555, into your cell phone and use for medical emergencies as well as lock-outs.

Evacuation Plan – All students are required to submit a personal evacuation plan online in BannerWeb.  In the unlikely event of an emergency, the plan describes where you would go if the college had to be evacuated.  To submit a plan, log on to BannerWeb, choose “personal information,” and then “Personal Evacuation Plan.”

Missing Person Contact – Students may designate a confidential contact person in the event they go missing. This person can be anyone and does not need to be the same as the student’s emergency contact(s). BannerWeb maintains the contact person’s information in a confidential area, separate from the student’s emergency contact information. The information will be accessible only to authorized campus officials and may not be disclosed, except to law enforcement personnel in furtherance of a missing person investigation. If a student is missing, authorized campus officials and law enforcement officers will have access to this designated contact and will communicate with the person no later than 24 hours from the initial report.

6. Complete Campus Clarity online training

A notice with a link to this mandatory training will be sent to your Middlebury network email account after May 1. You will not be allowed to attend class until you have completed this training.

Look for a message from “Title IX Resource Coordinator <donotreplycc@campusclarity.com>”.

You may also access the training by going to www.campusclarity.com. Click on the “Login to Training” button in the upper right-hand corner of the page; you will then be asked to enter your Middlebury College email address and the link to the training will come to your inbox.

***If you completed Campus Clarity training for Middlebury College during the summer of 2017 or academic year 2017-18, you will not be required to complete it again for summer 2018 and you will not receive an email with a link to the training.***
